UBC APSC PD GEM

Participate in the UBC Faculty of Applied Science (APSC) Graduate Engineering Mentoring (GEM) Program and explore the unique opportunity to network with industry professionals and gain valuable skills – such as interviewing and professional communication skills – while expanding your knowledge about engineering professions. This program is designed to meet the needs of MASc and PhD students by matching a PhD student with a MASc student as well as an engineer from industry. All participants are matched according to related disciplines or interests. Registration deadline is October 1, 2018. EGBC Mentoring Program

The Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) mentoring program allows experienced licensed professionals to transfer their skills and knowledge to aspiring and current professional members. The program provides guidance on the EGBC registration process, career counseling, entrepreneurship, retirement and succession planning, general mentoring, and establishing a professional network.
